Related question. When I was looking into tanks like this (AP, Boaphile, etc) for my future BRB, I was reading about some cages sagging, but I can't remember which manufacturer had those complaints. How is Animal Plastics in that regard?

Lots of great cage manufactures out there, I've used Boaphile, Freedom Breeder and slant front Neodesha in the past and currently use ProLine, Animal Plastics and Barrs cages.
Had some slight sagging in Boaphile and old style Prolines but that was caused by placing heavy things on top of the stack (like large pieces of grapevine) and not from the cages themselves.

From order to delivery it took 5 months to get one of my cages from AP (on a 3 month estimated delivery time).

Yep. My last cage took 25weeks when quoted 10-12weeks. There was an issue with my heat panel not having been delivered from the supplier when they finally got around to building my cage that added time to the wait as well.

It's an old coffee table. Exactly 4x2 so it worked out perfectly. I put the two 2x2 end tables together and put my other 4ft cages on them.

As JM mentioned they just updated the website. Talked with Ali about it and they do it in house so no fancy fancy to save money. It was also nice that they didn't increase enclosure pricing as planned when they did the update.

I've heard boaphile (no personal experience) and the vision (personal experience with one I borrowed) enclosures may sag - no issues with my AP's yet.

I have also heard of Vision tanks sagging.

I've heard people say that about AP and Boaphile as well.

I've had Boaphile tanks for almost a year and there are no sagging issues at all. I've also heard people say they can smell and absorb waste. I also have had zero issues there. However, I clean my tanks thoroughly and regularly. Not sure how other people do it, but I imagine if you leave waste in the tanks for extended periods, you might get an odor.

I have all 6X2' tanks, which are 3X2's joined in the middle. They are stacked. They are all resting on a base made by Boaphile that is the appropriate size (length and width) and designed to be stacked on.

I've heard that pretty much any tank will sag if too big and, more importantly, not supported properly. I've heard stories of tanks of different sizes and on improper bases stacked and sagging. However, when properly supported, I've not heard of either a Boaphile or AP tank sagging.

Again, can only comment on what I've read and experienced.

Many of these companies, like Boaphile and AP, have been making tanks for a long time and have good designs, are time tested, and have also been improved on over time.

I know Jeff at Boaphile switched to a lighter material about two years ago (my tanks are made of that material), for example. It's lighter and holds humidity better, supposedly.

Again, I've had a great experience so far with Boaphile, and I've heard many stories where people are very happy with AP.
