She continues to grow, pic taken about 20 minutes ago. Interestingly, the babies seem to move up and down the length of her body.

When I bred my boas or corns, I handled the females only if absolutely necessary to clean the cage.

I let them chill, I try not to handle at all.
Of course some handling may be needed in order to clean the cage.

You must be so very excited for her to finally give birth to hopefully lots of healthy and happy baby dumerils.
I am loving my new male dumeril, he is just around 3 months now. Dumerils are such great snakes!
Please keep us posted on mommy's progress...

So I have some extremely sad news. She gave birth approximately 6 weks early. 17 Slugs and 1 Stillborn. We have had 3 heatwaves in the past 3 months, where twice temps spiked at 46C. This is my last season breeding her. She will live her life out as a pet.
