    Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I can afford the snake, any vet care, and have food already and all that, but the enclosure will end up costing so much I will be saving for a really long time before I can buy one

    Just for the record, I started my BRB out in a 10 gallon glass tank, covered the top with foil and tape, with a fogger hooked up to an inexpensive hygrostat. At about 8-9 months old I switched her to a 30 gallon tall glass tank I got on craigslist for 20 bucks, same thing covered the top and humidity is perfect. Only now I'm ordering her a T10, which she won't even be ready to go into for probably a year or more. They grow very slow. Just food for thought....

    On the acquiring "soonish" list:

    -Northern White Lip python (whenever Richard's pair breeds)

    -1.1 Ackie monitors (poss this fall or in the spring)

    -1.1 ferrets (guessing within a couple months)



    On the long term list:

    Wish list but will not get due to size, husbandry challenges, experience level and permit to own:
    Eastern indigo
    Tegu
    Pig
    Any wide bodied snake that is over 5 feet long
    Any snake over 6 feet long

    List of animals I plan to get, near future or long term goal depending on space:
    Woma (Hoping for one at the Daytona expo!)
    BEL bp
    Albino bp
    Piebald bp
    Snow or albino bull snake or gopher snake
    Snow/axanthic corn
    Leopard gecko. Maybe a Tremper giant. He will be at the expo so can't wait to see them in person.
