Is it ok to use rocks from the beach?

I found this rock on the beach. Currently sitting in warm water and F10. Are there any issues with mineral deposits, critters that can survive being submerged etc?

I'd disinfect it and then boil it in water, that should kill anything in there.

You can also spray it with some PAM if you have any! I'm just guessing PAM is probably suited to kill any parasites, not just mites. And then wait a couple days for it to dry completely before putting it anywhere near the snake.

Re: Is it ok to use rocks from the beach?

I boiled it for about 30 minutes. Should provide Kaiju a good surface to shed against. Cheers guys.
