Re: Got a new BCI today

Due to shuffling, I managed to free up a herpstat for the RHP in the T8 on my QT room. So, Cas got upgraded to a full T8.

He was more than happy to eat and seems to like the space. He seems to already know the schedule since he was ready for his mouse before I even brought it in to thaw, but he never does it on any day except feed day

He can be tough to spot in the cypress/reptile prime mix though.. yes there is a snake in this shot.

And last night he decided to explore the sliding door track. He was not stuck, but it certainly looks like it. He got himself out a little while after I took pictures.

Re: Got a new BCI today

Since my last post Cas has shed for the first time for me! He went dull early last week, turning an almost pink color instead of orange, and took what felt like forever to finally shed. I left him completely alone except to offer food Sunday night, which he took after a few minutes of wiggling.

He shed a 100% perfect shed early Tuesday morning, which I even managed to unroll without any tears. Woohoo!

He is now weighing in a 138 grams.

I had him out for a minute the first day I noticed he was getting dull and snapped a picture of the color difference.
Lighting in the bathroom is better than the room light, and the 2nd one is using his white cage LEDs a few days later.

Here he is Tuesday afternoon showing off his bright colors!
