Brin x Viper corn clutch 2018

This is Brin's first season, so rather exciting. She is a Ghost Bloodred with unknown hets and was paired to Viper, Diffused Tessera het Anery, Hypo, poss het Amel, Caramel and Lavender. She laid 12 good eggs.

And they have started to hatch today. So far looks like a Diffused Anery ? and a Diffused ?.

Mazel Tov! Everyone is looking good!

Corns are so tiny when they are born! OMG, so cute!

I am still in awe of Solana (our baby corn) at all of 9G and 2+ months. I forget Figment (630G, 5ft, male adult hypo lavender corn) was that big when I got him too!

Halfway done. Here is #6 out. Have two pips left and 4 eggs still to pip.

#7 is out and a Hypo Diffused Tessera.

#8 is out, a Diffused Tessera.

We have two new pips this morning, a Hypo Diffused something and an Anery Diffused something! Happy about the Anery, we've hit the Hypo odds very well with this clutch but not the Anery so far. There are two more eggs left to pip.

Now have three pips and one egg left to pip. Have a Hypo Diffused in one egg, a Hypo Diffused Tessera in the other and the Anery Diffused that is still shy enough I don't know if there is anything else going on with it. Have to wait until it's out but it looks dark enough, I don't think it is a Hypo.

    So, that presumably gives us:
    4 Hypo Diffused
    2 Hypo Diffused Tessera
    1 Diffused
    2 Diffused Tessera
    1 Anery Hypo Diffused Tessera
    1 Anery Diffused ?
    1 Egg

Overall I'm very happy with our odds on matching hets/Tessera but fingers crossed for another Anery something in that last egg! The Ghost Bloodred Tessera is cool enough looking already that I keep reminding myself that I don't have room for keepers from this clutch. Hope it's a male, if it's female, not keeping it might be a losing battle, LOL!
