Yeah he doesn't look too happy in that first pic. You just had to mess up his lovely web! Will you be getting any of his offspring?

Re: Mature male P. irminia (dial up death)
Does Templeton bring it back? Sorry brief flashback.
Ok I'm trying not to sound stupid, but I'm sure I will anyway. HUH? You don't slice an eggsack do ya? You have to use small words and talk real slow for me today. I had 11 preschoolers in my house loaded up on birthday cake. (As it was my daughters 4th birthday!) My brain is on super meltdown, besides the fact I should be asleep not typing away but again I'm not that bright!

Beautiful T.
Yes, I would recieve half of the slings that came out of the produced eggsack. The owner of the female of course, gets the other half.
Btw, an eggsack in spider terms is really just a big ball of silk with a bunch of smaller yellow eggs rolling around in it (until they molt for the first time, and become "eggs with legs", then they molt again, and acutally look like spiders, usually with 3rd molt, they acutally have some color to them, other than a clearish yellow". The silk is way to thick to acutally cut it in half, and doing so would dehdrydate all the eggs (and kill them) anyway.
If all goes well, the spiderlings will make it to 2nd instar (second molt) he'll either seperate or not seperate them, as he chooses, and then ship the spiderlings back to me.
It'll be a while before we find out if his female is gravid, assuming my male "does his duty" for the species.
His first trip went well! He arrived safe and sound.
The batheroom is the easiest place to move them..if you plug all the drains, put a towel down, plug the tub facuet, and any other areas they might bolt into. Smallest room = less room to chase them in && less places for them to squeeze into. Plus, it might be a little bit harder for the terristrals to run out of the tub. Arboreals, on the other hand, will run up and hide in your shower curtain I've done quite a few swaps on the counter, but the tub is much better.
Only once was I stupid enough to try swapping in my room, and ended up chasing a horned baboon spiderling all over the place. Got her housed though
