    Lucy update and questions!

Lucy has been feeding voraciously and very active.
She's had enough successful feeds that i finally could handle her and she was fine looking around from my hand for 45sec then started nuzzling my hand and slightly opened her mouth against my hand which startled me and I put her back.
Is this normal or an indication she's starting to try to eat? She did it when I first took her out of shipping packaging too. How do I help it?
My hands were freshly washed with soap. Made me break out the gloves.
Pic tax! (Noodles who try to monch mom while shes cleaning get the bin and the gloves!)
Also her food looks smaller than her but I'm not sure what size difference is enough to double feed, pic with my hand for comparison.

I've seen rosy boas do the same thing: nuzzle a hand ("trying to find the head"?) and then finally decide to open their mouth & just try anyway-

I have a feeling that your cute little pal hasn't been handled before (to know what hands are for?) & also is growing fast (hungry) & will learn in time.
Meanwhile, make it so your hands don't taste good...silly Lucy! Look at the bright side, she's easy to feed. Beats having a snake that won't eat...
