    Thank you,

I try to make every cage somewhat naturalistic, or at least my interpretation of naturalistic is.

The carpet cage is in the middle here, below is the boa's and the top is the royal's.

I just measured Jewel and she is about 7 feet long on the button! Maybe an inch more, but she's a 7 footer and doesn't seem at all large to me.

I finally got the MAC issues cleared up and have a few nice RECENT pictures to add to this post.

Jewel slammed this rat, and spent a good deal of time exploring afterward.

Again, she's a coastal mixy/mutt. Likely jungle and something else mixed in. Nick Mutton actually told me one of the parents of Jewel had some diamond traits, but we are all in a guessing game with carpets that have no locality data.

Jewel's mother was found in a bag on the side of the freeway, I was told.

She's a carpet and that's cool enough for me.

Its interesting how yellow she looks in photos, she's not at all in person.

Another note from Nick and Justin's book; The coastals of certain locales have a flatter head. Jewel seems to be in that category.

There is something very cool about the heads of carpet pythons. The heat pits, the pattern and the shape make them rather unique.

Hope you like her newer pictures.

She's 5 years old this Thursday and right at 7 foot 1 inch!
