She is beautiful though let me know what you guys think. My first blood/ short ever

She turned her nose up at frozen, then I tried live and boom. Just hope she doesn’t count of this all the time as I really don’t like feeding live mice and rats. All my other snakes eat frozen not problem. When I got I was told she eats frozen but it’s a little soon we will see how it goes

My Borneo is refusing anything but live so far too. He took a few months off, now shows no interest at all when I offer frozen. I'm hoping a few more live feedings are all I need to get him back on F/T

Yes I can definitely see the attraction to them. Only thing I’ve noticed it’s kinda creepy how they focus on you and you actually see there pupils moving to focus on you. Never had any other snake be that focused lol

How’s the temperament of the Borneo? I was actually torn between a Borneo or red before ordering. Just went with the red because of the coloration they get once older.

He's super chill. Barely let's out a tiny hiss now and then when I first touch him. But he knows pretty quick I'm not a threat and he calms right down. He's perfect for when you want to just relax and watch tv or something.
I'm actually thinking about going with another STP next, but ssshhh, I'm going to disappoint some carpet and boa friends if I do. I only have one of each species so far, because I love the variety, but there's something about Juice that makes me want another STP.

So true about the eyes. The pupils follow you while everything else is still. It's almost like the paintings with the eyes cut out on Scooby Doo or sowmthing!!!

Once she sheds you might try leaving her a f/t feeder overnight. My girl won’t take food from the tongs, but I drop her rodent at the opening to her hide and it reliably disappears, sometimes in only a few minutes.

Sounds good. I’ll try this one she sheds. Really want her to gain some weight. Pics do no justice to me she is on the small side a little
