Fed little one again tonight. 2nd feeding and doing really well. No regurge at all. Basking on the warm side more often. Still inquisitive and interacting. This little one is doing well. No signs of mites. Still have not super cleaned his cage since I just want him to relax for a while. I have had him one week today and not sorry I took this one in.

I think he's not sorry you took him in either... So happy that he's doing so well...you never know what you're getting into with rescues, and it's
next to impossible to say "no" to a little snake in need. (speaking for myself, LOL)

    Re: Rescue pueblan uodate

Here he/she is after a fresh tank clean and 2 meals since taking it in. Don't see much of a difference yet but I did see poop in the bedding. Not sure if recent though. I don't know how long it has been since his tank has been cleaned.

Little one ate again tonight without issue. He has gained 4g. I got him at 78g and nOw he is 82. Is that a good weight gain for a week and a half? Next feed he goes to two fuzzies. Each fuzzy is 7g.

Im really enjoying this little one.

Hardly anything is more gratifying than to rescue a snake (or other animal) in need of help, & then to watch them improve & thrive.

    Re: Rescue pueblan uodate

Ok we for sure have poop! Yep, we have solid poop not all mushy. Haven't seen the white stuff yet (forgot what it's called). Here is the little one at 84g (maybe a little more now) with all his new plants and two new black hides that used to be Odyn's. Temp and humidity gauge as well. Temps are good gradient in the cage and he does move around the cage for his regulation. I'm so happy for this little one. Going to two fuzzy a next feed.

The little one weighed in at 92g tonight and is on his 2nd feeding of two fuzzies. He is doing really well. 2 more feeding of two fuzzies and move up to a hopper? Or should he go to three fuzzies?

    Nice job!!

I think you're fine going from 2 to hoppers.

Happy to hear things are going well.
