New to BP have a few questions

People on here have shared that feeding chart, because it's tried and true. You're not doing your snake any favors feeding prey smaller than they can eat fresh out of the egg. Again, not trying to be a jerk, just trying to help you and your BP.
But, your snake, so do what you feel is best...
I totally get it and I will definitely be feeding bigger prey next time. I was sort of between a rock and a hard place today because it was all they had. Next time I will be better prepared. I know it was less than ideal but I’m just glad to have her eating something. I definitely want to do what’s right by her

Sounds good, thank you for understanding.
I know you want what's best for your pet, and so do we. Unfortunately, there is so much bad info out there, it's hard to know who to trust. You're in good hands here though. I always advise people to cross reference any info they receive to make sure it's accurate. If 3 out of 3 people from the forum are advising "choice a" vs one pet store saying "choice b" I would be inclined to listen to the 3.
Anyway, I'm super happy she ate for you. Keep reading and learning. The more we know about our pets the better we can care for them.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, we're happy to help.

Just thought I would update. She pooped yesterday, and was cruising today, looking like she wanted food. She took a frozen thawed small mouse!

Just wanted to update for anyone interested. Astrid is doing really well. She is eating like a champ. She had dropped to 64g when she wasn't eating, but was 74g yesterday, so she is gaining again!
