    Quick Question on Humidity Levels

I keep all my snakes in AP T8 cages. They are kept on Uline Indented Kraft paper. With summer here in MI - my humidity gauges are reading 78%-80% humidity but the cages are bone dry as far as the paper and such. No condensation or anything.

Is this okay. I've got all the vents open. I was always told that as long as there was no moisture such as condensation then the higher number will not hurt.

    Just wanted to check again.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

if there's no condensation, then you should be all good.

if you're really worried, you could try running a fan in the room.

I agree, but not so sure about your Dumerils either...I've never kept them but seem to recall that they like (need?) to burrow to feed well as an ambush predator?
Not saying they're all the 'same' though, if yours isn't picky about that? But I think all your snakes should be fine with the humidity itself, as long as the substrate isn't damp/soggy.

My humidity has always been no less then 70...sometimes in the high 80s and I've never had condensation issues fwiw.
