    Reptile Basics Caging

Anyone use Reptile Basics cages want to share their experiences/pictures etc? Starting to shop around for my male olive and a few other liasis I have growing out. Currently use Animal plastics throughout but this next order I place shipping alone is . If I could pick up some Reptile Basics stuff at an expo and the quality is there it would save me a significant amount of money but having to preorder before the show I'd like to hear some real world reviews.

I havent used RBI cages but arent the biggest ones they make only 4 footers? If you are looking for 6+ foot caging, i think you are going to have to go with AP, Boaphiles, Showcase, or Vision.

Regardless though, you are going to pay out the nose for 6 foot cages. Anything above 4 feet takes a big jump as they have to be freight shipped and use a lot more material as most 6 foot cages are about 3 feet in depth as well.

I personally use AP T25s and 3 of them loaded with shelves, locks, flexwatt, installed LEDs and a stand ran me about $2000 with shipping.

    Re: Reptile Basics Caging

I have a 2'x3'x12" RBI and I am very pleased with it. The cage came assembled and the fit is very good. The finish on the cut edges could be better, particularly on the plexiglass door. Nothing terrible but could be better.

    I will be purchasing again.

As has been said, they do not sell cages wider than 4'.
