    Happy Father's Day

To all the dads out there, Happy Father's Day!!

I am not a father myself, but will be hosting my second annual Frechette Father's Day at my house. Last year I had my grandfather, father and brother here for the day, 3 generations of Frechette fathers. At this time last year my sister-in-law was still pregnant, but this year my nephew will be representing the 4th generation of Frechette boys at my house today. Pepere is 97 and will be 98 next month. Sawyer is about 10 months old and will be a year in August.
So today I have the rare gift of hosting 4 generations of my family which are separated by 97 years!!!!

On the menu: lobster, steamers, ribs, burgers, dogs, and grilled chicken, to go along with mac salad, corn on the cob and a few pick-ons.

I included a pic that many of you have seen, but I'm sure many haven't. Either way, I love it and I'm proud of it, so here it is again: Pepere (at 96, almost 97 years old) holding his first snake ever, my Cal King, Django.

    Happy Father's Day!!!!

(Ok, decided to post Dad, my brother and my niece along with Tyson [he was so little a year ago!!!] as well...)

Hats off to a fellow veteran although my time in Afghanistan was probably nothing compared to what he saw.

This is also my first Father's day with my beautiful 7 month old girl Rosalie. Here she is having some fun with sweet potato

    Re: Happy Father's Day

    We had a wonderful day!!
My father's girlfriend was even able to bring her father who has severe dementia. Prior to today he hadn't left the assisted living facility in almost 2 years. So it was great he was able to make it as well.

All four snakes made an appearance, my niece wanted to see them all and I can't say no to that precious little girl . She likes to pet them but isn't quite ready to hold one. She loves "kisses" from Cosmo the best.
Two of the ferrets came out too. Only the boys fit in my harness, the girls are too small and slip right out. The girls came out for just a second to say hi, but the boys each got a turn outside on the harness.

I love that my niece is already such an animal lover. She's grown up with a dog her whole life, so she's got a great understanding of how to be gentle with animals. The ferrets and snakes are always the first thing ahe asks about when she comes to the house and she's so sweet with them.

Anyway, we had a great day. I'm so grateful to be able to spend time with family, especially when we can get all 4 generations together. I didn't get many pictures, but here's a couple...
