    Brazillian Rainbow Boa Killer Eater

Today i wanted to see how much of an aggresive feeder i have! What i did was put the first fuzzy in as usual and i heard the squirm then while it was still killing the fuzzy i put the 2nd fuzzy in and theres another squirm so the coolest thing was is that she strangled the both at the same time!!! I got some killer pictures.

Check them out they are deffinately worth seeing!!!

I would not recommend feeding two live animals at the same time. This incident will not happen everytime you feed, and will eventually leave your snake open to attack. The proper(and safest) way to feed live is to feed one rodent at a time.

    BTW....Nice looking BRB

mr~python, if there are other terms you would like to know, there is an encyclopedia on this site with quite an extensive listing. Up near the top left corner under the main menu list, there is a drop down menu box titled "Module Jump". Click on the down arrow and then on "Encyclopedia". Very helpful to me, still.

I would just like to add that it *probably* is not a good practice to subject the animal to more than one prey item..even if the item does not have its eyes open. It can and will cause added stress and its not worth it..."just to see what kind of responce he has".

Re: Brazillian Rainbow Boa Killer Eater

Being experienced with BRBs, I would not make it a habit of overfeeding them or feeding multiple prey items. Since they require lower temperatures (mine prefers the low 80s on the warm side and high 70s on the cool) they do not digest as fast and can have regurge issues if too much is fed. I am not by any means saying that your are overfeeding but keep it in mind as the snake matures and the prey size increases.
