It isnt dust free like the claim though but it is lower on the scale, about equivalent to ReptiChips. The killer is the price. The stuff is easily the most expensive on the market and if you have more than a couple snakes, be prepared to shell out cash. I only use it for Dottie as it would cost me over $100 a month just for substrate for all my snakes if i used that stuff exclusively. Plus i think it too fine for larger snakes. I recommend cypress for large stuff like adult boas and retics and burm etc.

And personally i would not recommend any fine coco substrate as it seems the finer the grade, the more the dust.
Eco Earth has a patented process that makes it dust free.

ReptiBark makes a good and easy to clean humidity holding substrate as well.

Eco Earth is far from dust free. I have yet to see a coco substrate that doesnt create dust when dried and stirred around. The closest i have found to being the most dust free when dry is ReptiChips for coco substrate. For any substrate, it is cypress and even that creates some dust i have noticed when i scoop it out with a dust pan and dump it into garbage bags. The only thing that wouldnt create dust would be something like corrugated wrap or newspaper.

I personally hate Eco Earth for so many different reasons that i really dont want to explain again lol. Out of all the substrates, i have used, i find Zoo Med Forest Floor cypress the best. Stuff is awesome for large snakes and lays flat so not hidden poops or pisses. But thats assuming your snake likes the stuuf. All my snakes do except Dottie my BP. She likes her coco substrate like ReptiChips or Reptile Prime.
