Re: Solana - Our Scaleless Sunglow Motley Corn

Solana continues to be doing great. She's a dream. Calm and docile but a great eater.

She's still recovering from her bad shed and Don said it will take a few sheds to clear up. However, she seems no worse for the wear and is looking good. She's well over 100G now, but I have to weigh her this week.

Re: Solana - Our Scaleless Sunglow Motley Corn

Solana is 118G dry now. I will bump her up to weaned mice from hoppers soon. Don't want to grow her too fast, but also want her to be full. The hoppers are generally around 10G, give or take, but the last few were under that. She's not going to starve and eats weekly, but I want to be sure I am taking good care of her as well and that she has food to grow.

Solana is going to shed again soon. She's looking good and it's interesting because the front half of her body is more faded than the back half.

Solana still a fantastic colour, she's just so orange, she stunning, really didn't seem that long ago that she was that tiny worm you was showing off

Re: Solana - Our Scaleless Sunglow Motley Corn

Solana shed today and got all the old shed/blisters off. I soaked her leading up to the shed and put her in moist coco fiber when she had some difficulty. Good to see her have a good and complete shed.

She's looking good and if it ever stops raining in CT, I'll take pictures outside.

Ugh. We've had a few bad storms, but it just rains and is overcast seemingly all the time! I miss the sun!

I'll be sure to get some good pics outside ASAP.

Thank you for the comments, Rich. She really is filling out nicely. I am also very relieved, as Don from South Mountain Reptiles said, that the evidence and residual from the bad shed a few sheds ago is gone now. I forgot how smooth and silky she feels!

    130G dry this week!

Here she is after a nice meal yawning and putting her jaw back in.

Outside picture of my freshly shed, 135G "baby."

She's yellowing up quite a bit.
