Re: Happy snake dad
Perseverance and hard work lol. Jk, he went on like a 4-5 month winter fast, had to scent the live mice with gerbil bedding just to get him to start eating. Then I thawed the pinkie in a bag with gerbil bedding. Then in a bag that once contained gerbil bedding the week before. Then just regular and he took it. Was important to make sure it was warm enough, and to tease him a bit to pique his curiosity. The first f/t he struck and then just sat there with it in his mouth in total shock, his face was priceless he had no clue what was going on lol but he did eventually take it down. Was just about him being back in food mode before I could make the switch

Thanks for looking out Zinc. I am very much on top of that, the skull eyes and top still leave him plenty of space, and the other skull holes are way too small for him to even try. Croc skull I actually just cut off the middle piece by the nose and filed it down. But as he grows I am going to keep monitoring it, as I am aware of the dangers
