    You can tell when a snakes growth has slowed down by how often they shed. I've had some very old snakes (not BPs) that only shed once every year to
    a year & a half. They were in their upper 20's, and their growth was in millimeters, not even centimeters.

    Re: Female Ball Python Poll

    My girl is approximately 2 1/2 years old; and approximately 4 - 4 1/2' long. I've only had her since May, and she hasn't eaten yet for me, so I don't handle her (except for maintenance and once to weigh her). So I am "guesstimating" her length by eyeballing her. Maybe once I'm able to handle her regularly, I'll be able to get a proper measurement of her full length.
