    The really large box is so they can climb up and bask on the top of it under the heat lamps if they want to. AND... I may consider maternal incubation, which these large hides would be perfect for incubating clutches, giving space to coil and uncoil to regulate humidity, etc.

    Yup! I concur, that's a great deal. I'm mostly a glass tank fan, but I've used some of these in the past & was pretty happy with them.
    And yes, I'm late posting this...they look great, glad you went for it!
