    looking for BP documentary

So I've been looking for documentaries about ball pythons in the wild but I can't find anything, it's always about the big pythons. Has anyone seen one or know where I can find one? Just curious to see how ball pythons behave in the wild because my little guy acts half human sometimes. I'd love to know how different they are in the wild.

This has come up before without a find. But there were some YouTube videos not long ago linked with some BP hunters digging some up in a grassy area.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

That's probably because they are one of the most boring wild snakes in existence from a life history point of view. They hide in rodent holes, are rarely seen even by locals, only come out at night, and once a year the males seek out females in said holes and breed.... and then the females lay eggs.... still underground this whole time. The babies then emerge.... only to go find another rodent hole to live in.

Very dated now but my main problem with it was the shaky hand held camera work.

That is a VERY nice documentary. I have seen and read his paper, too!

I think some people are disappointed because of the poor camera skills and video quality. But it has been explained that this research group was truly roughing it, they were way out there, to get some good information out in the natural habitat of those snakes. They didn't have the people nor equipment to turn this into a film-quality video, but when it comes to authenticity of the snakes in their natural habitat (not living on bushes and trees on the outskirts of human habitation, following where the rodents congregate) this is a most interesting documentary.
