One solid week in and these babies babies are not healthy they DID all take a f/t mouse this week which is a start.. The pied is the worst off, she had some red/brown scales that I attributed to an injury from live feeding. Then it clicked that she has scale rot, although it is in an unusual spot, all along her back and sides. All three are undergoing treatment. What concerns me is that she has a wobble, complete with corkscrews. I don’t have her genetic history but it is exacerbated by excitement, so when she has her betadine bath she’s a wobbly mess. To me it looks like a spider wobble. But I don’t see spider in her pattern.

I dont regret getting them, this pied was on limited time, they are in quarantine and I wash with chrlorohexadine after I am around them.

Geez, so sorry you have your hands full with them. Poor little things. Hope you can pull them out of it, you're a saint.

    Kudos to you

    You're doing the lord's work.

It warms my heart to see that somebody who cares rescued those poor creatures from what were clearly substandard conditions.

Just those pics of the basement should've set off alarm bells. I keep snakes in my basement also, but it doesn't look anything like that!

    Looking forward to updates.

    Best to you!

The corkscrew can be from neurological damage as well. Could have gotten too hot, could be infection, could be parisites. You have probably thought of that already though.
    Nothing
