The Next Big Thing!
ok we were in a meeting the other day and one of my colleagues had this.
yep, it's boxed water! b/c bottled water was sooo yesterday. in fact, any other kind of water is just blasé. yep, everything there is from Whole Foods and "better" than anything i've eaten in the past week. (i don't remember what was in the box - but hey, it's Whole Foods and gluten free.) i'm calling it now - boxed water is the next big thing. #BoxedWater #HighQualityWater #GoodForYou #GoodForBallPythons
Edit: what do u think? is this it? what's the next big thing?

Re: The Next Big Thing!
Seen it before, thought it was a gag at first. Honestly, it could be a good thing, if it isnt super overpriced (things at whole foods do seem to rack up a good bit of $$$), because its a biodegradable casing. Who knows, maybe we'll be giving it to our pets one day.

My friend was just in town visiting from Australia and brought this with her, gave me some to take home. They are super conscience there about recycling and this is what is replacing bottled water.
I think it's a wonderful thing as plastic bottles (well plastics in general) are such a major issue for the environment.

Huh I was thinking too maybe it's the biodegradable aspect is better than plastic!

If the container is recyclable or biodegradable, I'm all for it! Actually, we need to carry re-usable containers too, whenever possible, 'cause this planet just isn't
big enough for all the trash we're capable of making...not if we still want forests & wildlife? So much plastic is technically recyclable but it doesn't happen, and
WAY too much ends up in the ocean, harming aquatic species & just making a big ugly mess! < And while I'm on it, please do NOT buy anything with
plastic micro beads...read labels! Those micro beads are ending up in the ocean causing harm, & even ending up in OUR bottled water, which ends up in US.
We can do so much better than this...& nature is counting on us.

My brother works for the largest beer distributor in MA as the Brand Ambassador for New Belgium Brewing. He stopped by my restaurant one day a few months back and he had a case of that boxed water with him. I saw a box on his passenger seat and thought it was a gag. Apparently, they distribute the stuff. It tastes like water to me....

Re: The Next Big Thing!
I think 50 or 100 years from now they'll look back and marvel at how foolish we were for using so much disposable plastic and letting it seep into our environment.
