    i'm starting to think this happened when separating the feeders into ziplocs. the indentation along the spine makes me think the two rats were pretty stuck to one another.

    I digress somewhat but I recently moved my Burm up to medium rats. One thing I noticed is that when they thawed out they smell a lot more 'ratty' than small or weaned rats. Is there something amiss with these particular rats or it normal for medium rats to smell more than smaller ones?

    hey! in my limited experience i've noticed the same; bigger rats = bigger smell.
