    Mickey Snake - Banksy

Thought I would share this piece of artwork. I had a chance to visit an art museum in Amsterdam today which featured the famous Banksy who is an anonymous graffiti artist who mysteriously leaves artwork across parts of Europe. This was a sculpture of a large snake who had just digested Mickey Mouse. As you can read, much of his work is based on social and political commentary.

i couldn't care less for Banksy personally, but this is an interesting piece. i keep trying to pin down a message (aside from his trademark contempt for the disney corporation) but i always feel like, when i get close to one, i find a reason why that's not the right or best message.

    interesting piece, for sure.
