I'm just getting started with Kalabash, only have ONE female so far. She is kalabash enchi het pied. I plan on breeding her, and possibly buying some more Kalabash morphs at some point.... perhaps that Kalabash Fire for example...

Wow, I really like what that does to the pattern, thanks for sharing.

Kalabash Clutch #3 2018
Kalabash Clutch #3 2018 is out.
Dame: Black Pastel Lesser
Sire: Kalabash Pastel Pied.
Lots of crazy Kalabash combos here. The "pied" looking animals are not pieds. Think of them as "extreme ringers". The power of Kalabash when you stack the genes.

Wow, that's really amazing. I wouldn't have mistaken them for pieds, but that is some fantastic pattern reduction and insane ringers right there. Do you know what they all are?
Edit: Spoke too soon, thanks for identifying and posting more pics!

No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

No worries, thanks Hector. One single gene KRG in the clutch, a KRG Lesser, plus those posted above, plus a low expression Black Pewter KRG Lesser, a KRG Pastel, and one I'm not sure yet.

That’s some incredible stuff. I never was terribly impressed with what I had seen of the Kalabash gene before, I liked the reduced patterns and contrast but it never really struck me as much different than any other genetic banding trait out there.
I am pleasantly surprised with your combos and must say my mind is now officially changed

A few questions: it looks like the entire clutch carries the KRG gene, and I've heard of multiple reports of that happening. It seems like it's common for KRG to pass to an entire clutch. Would you say that's accurate? I know KRG is listed as a dominant gene on MorphMarket and WoBP, but usually dominant genes are inherited by half of a clutch, not all of it. Do you think there's any chance KRG might be polygenic?
Sorry for prying, I'd just like to understand the morph better.
