moving with snake and frozen mice
so next month im moving out of state 9 hours away, i have a western hognose and shes in a 2qt tub, i also have about 40 frozen pinkies. any idea on how to transport both of these things? i will be driving them with me.

Maybe a heat pack (like how you ship snakes and two styrofoam coolers one with the heat pack and snake in a bag the other with ice but bet someone with experience will chime in good luck and congratulations on your new home

i was wondering if shed be fine for 8-9 hours in a 70-75° environment, and with the mice im curious if regular ice would work or if id ned dry ice

She’ll be fine at that temp for that length of time. For the mice, I once had to move an 18hr drive away with snakes and frozen feeders. Stuffed all feeders in an airtight ziplock and froze that bag solid in a big bowl of water before I left. Packed it in a well iced cooler and all was fine when I reached the destination
