    RI help

I think my snake might have RI he doesn’t have bubbles on his face isn’t like laid virtually on the glass I can just hear a sort of popping coming from him and I had a friend take care of him for a week and when I got him back she told me her snake had a respiratory infection I’ve noticed he tends to lay his head upward on his hide

I have a 10g tank I have a heat matt on the warm end that’s goes from 85-90
I have a CHE on the cold side and keep it at 75-77
And humidity at around 55 most of the time

My friend said that she always washed her hand before and after handling him so I don’t know how he got RI

Idk if this helps but I have eco earth mixed with forest floor and I have isopods in there too

It's possible that whatever nasty that is causing the infection is airborne, so it's still possible for your snake to get it form your friend's. Your temps and humidity are within reason, you could try bumping up the humidity but to be honest it would probably be a better idea to go to a vet that is familiar with reptiles.
