    (Some) updated T pics

Snapped a few shots this evening:

Pet hole #1 caught in plain sight! W00t!
    Starburst baboon:

Pet hole #2 was having none of that action and striking at air.
    Sunburst baboon:

Raised from a 'sling - my Flameknee

    A larger Mexican Redknee:

Right now the fastest grower is this Brazilian Salmon
    only a month ago:

    today (2 molts later):

The psychotic sp. longipedum that I didn't find in an empty roll of toilet paper on the bathroom floor one day I swear, hun . . .

I need to retake the zebra and pinktoe shots - since the battery as dying I guess it bonked the macro mode. I'll get the 2 rosies then as well even though I know everyone's seen those.

I'm telling ya man, give that longipedum 8 inches of peat moss to burrow in and it'll settle down....of course you won't see it.

Nice shots. I think your "sunburst" is acutally a P. murius. Your startburst may just be a Pterinochilus sp. or it could be P. lugardi. I don't know enough about them to tell.

I haven't shot pictures of the T's lately...although I wil try get some more pictures of my P. irmina before I send him out. He matured a couple of days ago

Right you are - it IS rare to catch the longipedum out at all. Epecially ouy of the cage lol.

On the first 2: The top was sold to me as a p.lugardi/starburst and the next down as p.murinus/sunburst/usambara. I have heard starburst/sunburst so interused I may well have confused myself though lol.

Definitely do post pics of your irmina before the bon voyage - he's headed for a mate, correct? You always have such awesome shots. How many different Haplopelma's do you have? And are they all as anxious to stay buried as the longipedum?

Yup, he's going off to meet a lovely lady (or two or more) in TX.

I have 2 Hap's at the moment.. I will probably pick up a third at the next swap.

I see cobalt blue legs every once in a while. I never catch her out for a drink.

As for the Haplopelma aureopilosum, I see it fairly often, but that's becuase it's a sling (in a vial). It's made this really next complex web tunnels. I've never seen it out of the tunnels though.
