Rodent water line
Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy 3/16 black water line. Reptile basics and reptile supply co. are out of stock and aren't getting any until mid next month. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Pretty sure it's just standard 3/16" ID agriculture style tubing. You can buy it from Amazon or tons of other places if you look around.

You can find 3/16 tubing at Home Depot, EBay etc

No matter what you do, do not use clear for water system black only (there is a reason why black is sold for watering system and not clear. Clear tubing is meant for fish tank (airline), when using clear for rodent system bacteria/mold will develop at a much faster rate since the light will come through forcing you to replace the line more often.

aahhhhh i did not know that is why black is the "go to".... so would a semi clear 5gal bucket be an issue? i have bought one that is food grade and its translucent.... sooo is that something of concern?

That stuff is cheap, at that price you could change it out every year and keep it fresh. I don't run anything through my lines except well water, maybe I should schedule it to be replaced every two years or so...
