    Reptile round hides

Someone posted a photo recently of round reptile hides that looked like igloos. They looked really cool. I am tired of using square boxes for them, and would like to buy some of these new round
ones. Does anyone have any experience with these, and with sizing them for snakes? Also. Where to buy?

They are new....from reptile basics? Same company as the other black ones. Not bean farm but the other.

I’ve been considering those also but I just got the rectangular ones so I’m going to hold off for a bit

    Re: Reptile round hides

I'm not sure if they exist in other countries, but in Indonesia we have this reptile specialist company called Savera that supplies everything from reptiles, hides, feeders, medication, etc. Here they supply every type of hide I can possibly imagine, from resin halflogs to half-ball hides.

Do you mean something like this? https://www.petsmart.com/small-pet/t...ml?cgid=600122

These are little rodent ones but they would work for small snake too.

They look like a ball cut in half with an entrance cut out.

    Re: Reptile round hides

i saw some from Reptile Basics at NARBC the other weekend.

the only downside - IMO and without actually using them myself - is how lightweight they are (my only complaint about RBI hides), and without the "feet" the square ones have, they feel cheap.

still wanna try them tho lol.

    EDIT: Sunnie beat me hahaha

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw those was, "Look, something out of Star Wars!"

They look really cool, although I agree that they do seem kind of thin. I like them better than the more rectangular hides, though- it just seems like they might be a little more comfortable for the snake.
