    Scales reddish.

. Can someone please help?! I took my bp out of tub first time in few days to check on him. And noticed his bottom scales look like this. The scales also seem to be coming up a little bit (catching on my hand when he’s moving around) They are ussualy white and smooth. Does anybody know what this is. Or have any advice?!

Either going into shed or your under-tank heat is running unregulated/too hot and your snake is starting to burn.

Have you used an infrared thermometer or temperature gun to measure the tub surface over the heater?

Does this look like scale rot? I did a search of it and looked almost exact same

You need to just make one thread

We need more info. Can you post a picture of your enclosure ?

How are you heating the enclosure? Under tank heater? Heat bulb? Do you have a thermostat attached to the heat to regulate it?

How long have you had the snake, has it shed for you recently?

Scale rot can start out that way, but this looks more like a burn. OR a beginning shed.

They burn at far lower temperatures then one would think. It doesn't have to feel burning hot to YOU. We run at far highter temperatures, so when we touch the heat source it should barely feel warm.

Please update with some more info.
