[VIDEO] my crew on feeding day, 3/14/2018

    https://streamable.com/eb8ez

minus Spaghetti, as she is in shed atm and didn't want to eat.

also, i had no idea what to do with Corny lol. so enjoy me doing whatever it is you call that in the video, bc i have no idea hahaha. i was getting rid of my remaining smaller mice so Corny got 3 of those this feeding, in case you're wondering why his feeder is so small.

Pumpkin Pie took his first rat (pup)! he's only 170g but he has the girth. he took it down like a champ.

Coffee Bean weighed in at 487g this am, so she got a weaned rat instead of a small.

let me know what you think! enjoy!!!

That video was so well done!! I enjoyed it very much and it should be used as an instructional video for newbies. I just wish my guy ate as good as your plethora of creatures. I'm so used to drop, walk away and come back the next morning. It would be so nice to see my BP eat like yours

Any advice on switching from mice to rats ?

i keep hearing and reading more and more that rats are better and more nutritious? I wish I knew that prior to ordering 50 mice 25 of one size 25 of another. But if I need to take it as a loss and move on to rats I will.

i actually talked about this earlier today!:

rats are preferred because they're bigger, and it's cheaper to feed one appropriately-sized rat than multiple mice. it's also less taxing on the snake's body to digest only one thing.
some beeps have a harder time switching from mice to rats, as all beeps are individuals, but it's easier when younger. i've had all my snakes since at least jeuviniles, this has been my experience getting snakes to switch: offer a rat. LOL. but fr tho, i've actually never had to use any tricks to get my guys to make the switch.
