    Does Vermiculite smell?

    Hi,

I just pulled one of my egg boxes out to put a new hydrometer in and the box smells fusty, now this is my first time having a clutch and using vermiculite so I was wondering if I’m just thinking too much or is that what damp vermiculite smells like :/

    Thanks!

    That’s all I use. I can’t recall it really having a smell.
