Really Nice looking snake , I personally feed my boas over 3year old once a month on a large rat which I think keeps them healthier and not over weight , still a lot more food than they would get in the wild, you might find it getting obese if you feed it that much fortnightly
Does your boa have sharp spurs near his cloaca (bum) which might help sex it

Is my boa a good size?
I’m on holiday in Egypt at the moment and the internet is not the best I can’t see the pics at the mo just coming up cracked, I upload pics thru Tapatalk .
On a 3year old boa they would be very noticeable and quite sharp some times the amount of times my older males males have scratched me with them, the females still have them but not quite as large , well on mine anyway
