    possible rescue burm coming friday

ok so im in the bath, and my friend is knocking at my bathroom door. im like what? he goes "get out, police dpt has a snake thats been found, need you to ID it." so i rush out of the bath tub and got dressed. i was especting to take it home, so racerd upstairs to get a rubbermaid. my friend stops me and says we cant take it until friday. heres the background on the snake. supposidly this lady came home and found it in her apt. anyways, im like ok and grab some shoes and head out the door. my friends dad is a sargent at this police dept. anyways we get there, and his dad said its about the size of my boas. so i figure its a female ball python or a BCI. wrong. i get there and sure enough its a 6-7ft looking burm. this burm has an RI. its just a beginning stages, but it does have an RI, and shows no signs of aggression. the snake also has scale rot, and a bad looking belly. it was ice cold, as it has no heat what so ever. its in a tank way too small for it, about maybe 4ft long IF that. supposidly their bringing a heat lamp in for it tommarow. either way im calling up there and asking if i can bring some neccesatiess up for it. the burm also looks a little skinny. i cant take it home until friday, as they are waiting for someone to claim it, but friday comes around and noone claims it than its mine. cross your fingers and hope no one claims it. it also has some bad shed on it.

Good luck!! I'd drool to get a burm, but just dont have the room for something that (potentially) large.

Will be rooting for you and hoping that all goes well! It's terrible that someone abuses an animal that way, but it's a great thing for the snake that you're willing to care for it and help it heal!!!!!

Poor snake! How come it's at the cop shop though? You don't have a humane society up there or a vet that keeps critters found like this till they can be found proper homes?

Hope everything goes good today and you can get some heat on that poor burm.
