    Very interesting, thank you for posting.

    Love to see how people got started on the research and some back ground about it. Interesting point about which family that virus belongs to and that it previously have only been found in rodents. Rodents, which have sometimes given it to PEOPLE !!! (causing severe illness)

    I find it interesting that so many rodent eating snakes species can get afflicted. Wonder how it originated ? From rodents to them ? Did it then evolve so that snakes can get infected from one another ??

    One thing is for sure, because of all the nasties one can catch from rodents (parasites being the least of the worries) if I ever decided to feed live, I would establish my own colony, from HEALTHY and clean rodents. I don't think I would want to deal with live rodents from a unknown source. Not just for my snakes sake, but mine
