No Gecko pictures yet, but here are some of his temporary enclosure. Until he eats and grows well, he will live in a smaller enclosure. Apparently they sometimes don't eat for weeks after moving, doesn't that sound familiar... He also has 3 different kinds of food, since they are also quite picky. LOL

Enclosure looks great. As far as eating...usually one week to settle in and they are eating normally. And I don’t find the average crestie to really be that picky. Some have definite food preferences, but it’s not like they will eat nothing if you feed them something else. They are really pretty easy little geckos.

Well, I just ordered 4 more foods to try, LOL.

I think I have all the Pangea complete diets now and the Repashy Mango one he is used to, as well as the Repashy with bugs one. The Pangeas are the super small sizes, though, until I know what he likes.

He probably will end up being a picky one. Thanks to ME. LOL

Should I even bother to offer water in a dish? He has a double dish feeder on the bottom and a single one on a ledge up higher. Or should I put 3 different kinds of food in those ??

I just thought of something else, I read you should mist in the evening. But should I mist in the morning since he will arrive from a long journey and might be looking for water or be dried out a bit?

Crested gecko will drink droplets from your daily misting they will also drink from a water dish if given the opportunity. Many people I know who breed geckos do not provide one but I do.

As for misting you can mist anytime, depending on where you live you might have to mist twice daily.

Re: Yeah, I also blame Deborah!!

So, the Gecko has landed! He is beautifull
I couldn't get good pictures because I needed both hands as he kept jumping from one to another. Didn't want to stress him out by trying.
He does have a little bit of shed stuck on him..mainly on upper arms. Breeder said to leave it for now and if still on there in a week or so to spray him down, put him in the deli cup and then try to take it off with tweezers.
Hope it comes off by itself. I don't look forward having to restrain him to pick off shed. Don't want him to hate me or drop the tail..
    Well here he is
