Are you looking for a dry chow type food? I just feed mine fresh veggies like greens and squash. Same thing I feed my beardie. Occasionally I give them plain Cheerios as a treat - they love hauling those things around.
1.0 Lesser Mojave Ball Python "Neptune"; 1.0 Western Hognose "Murray"
Lizards:
1.0 Bearded Dragon "Nigel"
Tarantulas:
0.1 G. Rosea "Charlotte"; 0.1 B. Albopilosum "Matilda"; 0.1 C. Versicolor "Bijou"; 1.0 B. Boehmei "Lightening McQueen"
Inverts:
1.0 Emperor Scorpion "Boba"
Dog & Cats:
1.0 Doberman Pinscher "Bulleit"; 1.0 Siamese Cat "Boudreaux"; 1.0 British Shorthair Cat "Oliver”
Goats:
"Hazelnut" & "Huckleberry"

Re: food for my dubias
I use different gut load products and water cubes, or just spray water on the substrate every few days (just a little).
Gutload food: http://www.reptilebasics.com/cricket...-gutload-100g/
Water cubes: http://www.reptilebasics.com/water-c...-use-32oz-jar/
Bedding/food combo: https://www.lllreptile.com/products/...-diet-20-ounce or https://www.lllreptile.com/products/...alworm-bedding. I mix them up. Mealworm bedding is cheaper and works, so I just mix in the dubai diet and the jurrasidiet gut load.
Fruit and veggies work too, but for Leopard Gecko's I am not sure what is best. When I had a beardie I used the food he ate. The above is what I do for my Leopard Geckos.
I also supplement with vitamins and calcium (more often than vitamins) on the food (not every feeding) when I feed, so I want the food to be nutritious and juicy, but not necessarily stuffed with veggies.
It can also get messy with fresh veggies in there.

yes, basically i can grind up for them, and supplement with some fruit and veggies.

Wow! How many animals and dubai's do you have?
I have three LG's and they eat about 300 roaches in about 2-3 months (I also feed mealworms and occasionally gecko crack, like wax worms or phoenix worms).
That dubai food lasts me a while!
Good luck. Not sure how you would make your own, but have also heard that dry fish food works too. There are probably more recipes for making your own fish food online than dubai roach food. Just a thought.

Wow, okay.
How much are you feeding the roaches? I put food in every couple of days with water and don't feed again until it's gone or close (especially with dry food). I also don't want them to grow like crazy, so I don't feed every day.
I could feed bigger roaches to my BTS, but prefer not to give them to him too often.
I guess since I buy small roaches, they don't eat as much as the larger ones by far!

they always have food in the tub right now, as well as water crystals.

I don't keep a whole colony, just enough to feed one leopard gecko, so I only buy a dozen at a time locally. I just put a core from a piece of fruit like apple or pear in with them, or a rind from a melon. FWIW they really love mango.
I like using fruit cores or melon rinds because the juice makes them sticky, so the powdered Ca/D3 and vitamin supplement really sticks to them when I feed them off.
