Looks good! I don't think it really matter which direction the fan blows, it is just there to even out the temp

I would think (a) would be better. I have absolutely zero experience with incubation but I would assume that you wouldn't want any air movement contacting the egg(s) or it would result in an uneven temperature. Again, I have no idea what I'm doing so please don't take anything I just posted as advice and good luck

Cool idea! I don't believe from what i've seen that there is much of a difference as long as it wouldn't touch the eggs, but i'm very new on the subject as well. I do want some updates on how this will work out, it sounds like a very cool project!

i might be wrong but is that the type of fan where u need space on both sides? one side to draw in air and the other to blow?

i would mount it to the top center with clearance to draw in air and have it blow down. if u are using egg boxes, u dont need to worry about direct air being blown against the eggs.

good luck and what are u breeding/hatching in Poland?

I would recommend placing your fan on top in the center, because heat rises and the fan will help push the heat back down. You'll definitely want to leave an inch or two between the fan and the top for airflow. I ended up using little suction cups with hooks on them to mount mine...

Your incubator looks good, I bet you will want a bigger one in the near future. I built a small one and quickly realized I needed a bigger one.

I will second adding the fan up top to help circulate the warm air down. You will need some airspace on either side for it to work properly. I got a energy drink fridge that thankfully already had a fan and lighting inside which made it really easy. Just had to add heat tape and plug it in.
