    Space heater placement?

    Good evening guys

I am just here to ask people who are using space heater in a room where snakes are at. I am using the oil filled radiator as my space heater btw.
I was wondering, where do you guys place your heater? where would be the most effective place to put. I tried searching for this but could not find proper answer so I wanted to ask some experiences.
For example, next to the window middle of the room or where ever as long as snake is next to it etc. I only have one snake so that snake tub is going to follow the heater to get the maximum heat possible.
I just wanted to save some energy so it doesn't run full blast all the time if possible.

    Thanks!

I am no expert but I have a oil filled radiator heater as well and I have it close to the tank. I live somewhere that gets to the single digits or colder. I just have it closer to the hot side but it keeps the ambient up pretty good.

I have the tank away from the window along with the heater. Farthest away from the windows as can be.

It depends on the type of heater. Oil filled are most efficient on the floor in the middle of the room. They passively create air movement from the warm air rising. Space heaters heat the whole space, if your window is a factor, putting foam board or something to insulate would be far more efficient than placement of the heater.
