    Perches in glass tank

What do you guys use or perches in glass tanks? I've been looking around and it seems getting rod holders, and attaching them with silicone is going to be the best way to accomplish this.

I use these for smaller perches. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Commerci...-4AC/203531920 You can get bags of 10 too. They work awesome and to remove them, just use a sharp knife to pop an edge and peel them off.

Have to dremel one side off so you can slide the perches down into it. Then i just dremel the perchesto have 2 flat sides so they dont spin.

    Re: Perches in glass tank

Search youtube "Exo Terra tank modification for a green tree python". There is a video. He used some nice bamboo perches.

Anyway, the key is to clean the glass and perch mounts (closet rod holders) with isopropyl alcohol first. Mark where you want the perches - you can mark the outside of the glass with a crayon or grease pen. Use good silicon, the kind w/o the mold retardant is safest (although that little amount won't hurt, but still..)
