Anyone Else Experiencing A Rat Shortage?

For the past few months, the only place in town that has live rats has gone from getting over 100 rats a week to 10-20. They say it's to do with some shortage from their supplier.

Both the store and I have looked around for local rat breeders or at least one within reasonable driving distance without any luck.

The nearest I can find is in ATL which is quite the drive for getting live rats.

I have 14 that will not do FT so I have been rotating who misses a meal each feeding. Sometimes someone doesn't eat so the other gets lucky but it's not ideal.

My two local sellers both had mass die-offs a few weeks ago due to RI's (almost 2000 between them), and they got those rats from the same supplier up in PA.
