Banana BELs
If my mojave banana and mojave bumblebee produce a super mojave bel, would I be able to reliably determine if the bels have the banana gene if they are male? Can I assume all male bels are banana and all females are not?
I just thought of this because typically you can't easily tell if a bel has other genes.

your Mojo Banana boy (if born born from a Banana dad) would produce Banana or Banana-combo offsprings, they would predominately be boy's. however there is no reliable way to tell if any BEL's u produce from that pairing would be Banana's unless u had a Super Banana as a parent.

Wouldn't that then mean that male bels from the pairing would be banana bels?

In theory yes if the male is a male maker all banana offspring would be males however, there are exception and every now and then you can produce a female banana or banana combo from a male maker, hence not a reliable way to be able to tell if a Bell also have Banana in it based on the sex.
IMO since it would be a super mojave chances are added genes will influence the head color however if it does you will just have to sell the offsprings as Super Mojave with possibly something else which will not affect the prices.

no, not necessarily. u do not have a Banana maker (aka Super Banana). so not all BP's in the clutch are guaranteed to be Banana's, even a BEL. u can still hatch a BEL Pastel or BEL spider w/o the Banana for example. however, u have a male Banana maker. the difference is that any BP's in the clutch that are Banana's would predominately be males (although there are exceptions w/ a female hatching every now an then).
