Hi corn snake people ! I finally got the urge to post some pics of Sammy . I picked him up from a friend of a friend a few years ago. I’d ball park his age at 4-5 years. Probed by my local shop owner / breeder as male when he was still a snoodle. Was sold as an Okeetee, but I’m kinda on the fence on that. Not really important as he’s the kind of snake that changes people’s opinions about snakes. Everyone loves this guy. My husbandry for Sammy is Corn Snake standard. Belly heat 84*-87* on a thermostat, temp gun monitored. 2 identical hides, reptibark substrate. Housed in an AP T8. He is 50 in. long and has a nice fit shape. Very muscular. Jumbo mouse every 10- 14 days. Opinions and questions always welcome! Anyone opinions on his morph or lack of morph would be much appreciated!I was unsure on The Okeetee ID but that’s how I introduce him. If he’s a normal I will of course refrain from that. Thanks , Corn people on this forum are some of friendliest people out there , with a couple of exceptions, lol. I’ve been lurking for 5 years or so and keeping various species for 20 plus. A retired breeder male creamsicle started it all for me.
