CHE on a tub?
So I'm planning to move all my snakes into tubs, a buddy of mine keeps their Chondros in tubs with CHEs. Is that safe? I assume that would warp or melt the plastic or cause some other issues but they've been doing it fine. Has anyone else done this with any success? It's possible to run a RHP in those Christmas tree storage bins so maybe that would be fine?

Re: CHE on a tub?
My wife keeps her balls in tubs on a wire shelf, she has che's sitting on the shelf above them. Obviously you have to play with the bulb wattage and the distance from the tub so you don't melt it.

Re: CHE on a tub?
There's a member on here(SDA I belive) who just wrote up a DIY on how to modify a tub for a CHE

I've got my big tub on a CHE, but I've made heavy modifications to the tub lid. And that was me, I wrote the DIY lol. I kind of went overboard on rationalizing things, I think, but I digress.

I just read through that, it's close to this other guide I found. I'm gonna give something like that a shot.
