    Hello there!

Hi there, I'm FlipsideRuffian! I am a relatively new snake owner-or reptile owner, for that matter. I have had one past snake who met his unfortunate end when he escaped and I found him not particularly alive three months later. I decided to try it out again and here I am! I currently have:

    -2 dogs, Penny and Rylee
-3 guinea pigs, Alaska, Saige and Patrick
    -2 hamsters, Mocha and Squirrel
    -1 giant rabbit called Garnet
-2 betta fish, Violet and Ikaika
    -and 1 ball python, Asriel!

I hope to get to know you guys and see you soon!

I don't like how you worded this as if is not your fault, you should feel some shame that the poor snake escaped ( your fault ) and it died.

We don't know the circumstances here. Also harsh! How would you feel if your first post and someone attacked you. He may feel like crap it happened. How about asking "hey how did you snake escape" or " oh man, what happened"?

Welcome me to the forum! Post a pic of your little one. We are all here to help.

I don't feel like I attacked the guy. I just expressed that I didn't like his choice of words... it seems to me as if he's blaming the snake for dying. He posted in another thread that he kept the snake in a poorly locking tank.
Mr. Rufian, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings and I'm sorry Sunnieskys for hurting your feelings as well.

I don't know, I thought it was worded alright... I was in no way blaming the snake for escaping and dying, I understand it was completely my fault that he did. I accidentally left a screen clip off the tank leading to his escape. I was heartbroken and anxious, I was in tears everyday in the fact I had lost my snake. I tried everything to find him, but with an unfortunate end. I in no way blame the snake but myself as I now understand that the tank he was in was not appropriate.

While that was a bit harsh I feel, no hard feelings! Sometimes things can be taken the wrong way.
