Kitana had a lovely time at the creek today! She actually seemed to enjoy it, she watched the water and explored a bit and then basked on the rocks. I of course brought blueberries with us as an added bonus for her

Can I have Kitana’s life, please?! That is one spoiled beardie. I love it!!! Does she swim?

I know beardies sometimes like to soak (& defecate) in water but I never tried letting the one I had swim...they don't look like they'd be good swimmers?

    But here's this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06ef5TIGGDs

Better than I thought...they could really use some (tiny) hand fins though.

Those ones does have a choice, poor things! That’s terrible. I was just wondering if Kitana ever tried to swim of her own volition.

Yeah, I just grabbed that video to show them swimming, but they should have resting platforms, they appeared to be getting stressed to me also...they aren't
designed for distance swimming, & they should have been allowed more rest as they got to the sides, not forced to swim again. (consider the source...)

But I could picture wild dragons maybe going into shallow streams or ponds after some juicy bugs, then back to the "shore".

Thinking about that pink vest being modeled above, you could make a similarly-designed tiny float-vest out of small packing bubbles...I would.

I've thought about making a float vest, but Kitana def likes her water warm She put one little foot in the water to inspect it and noped right out of there and into the grass LOL

Well she can't have a float vest without a heated pool! ....(& pool-side snacks...)

I'm thinking of buying her a kiddie pool and putting about a half inch of water in it in the sun, with a brick! She would have a good time once the water warmed up
She is doing very well! Been having the springtime crazies, I got a hilarious video of her in the backyard. I'll have to post it to youtube to get it on here
