Ball python temperature too high???

THANKS YALL! so excited to get my noodle! I the jumpstart showed up today, I am taping it to the glass and setting desired temp and removing some substrate.

The thermostat probe should be in between the UTH and the glass, follow this diagram. There shouldn't be anything sticky in the enclosure.

Tape does not go inside an enclosure.
Probe goes on the UTH.
